| HIGH SPEED PRECISION TUBE MILLS |
| Magnum have installed two high speed mills (150 meters per minute) sourced from Kusakabe, Japan through their Indian arm M/s Gallium Industries to accommodate OD from 9.50 mm to 82.50 mm in thickness range of 0.35 mm to 5.00 mm.
The solid state high frequency welders have been sourced from Thermatool, USA and GH, Spain. These are the first of their kind in India having the following advantages over conventional welders : The heat affected zone on each side of the weld is minimum, which reduces the local hardening of heat affected zone and it has replaced annealing in many cases. So the tube gets qualified in critical applications like full-flattening etc. The welders provide a uniform current required to weld the material with efficiency of more than 85% as compared to about 55-60% of conventional welders. The result in a smooth weld and over heating or low heating ie cold weld, is avoided. |

FLAT STEEL SERVICE CENTER Magnum have installed two slitting lines to accommodate upto 1600 mm wider coils in thickness range of 0.35 mm to 5.00 mm. For producing high quality camber free cut to length sheets, two PLC controlled cut to length lines have been installed for thickness range of 0.30 mm to 4.00 mm and coil weight of up to 30 MT. |
